Early stage exploration is tough… but we need it! Tips for juniors and instos | Accelerate by Synergy

When you work with juniors raising their first few rounds of capital it can be really tough to hear all the time:

-"We only invest in companies with a resource"
-"We don't invest pre-drilling"
-"Drill and then give me a call"
-"It's too early for us"

If you're a junior:

Don't feel discouraged.
Develop a thick skin.
Do your work.
Find new technologies that de-risk what you do.
Keep talking to investors, and the media.
Have a social media presence.
Network as much as possible.
Keep walking those -IRL and virtual- streets.

If you're an investor (especially institutional) with an appetite for mining:

We need minerals.
Exploration is how we find them.
Allocate *at least a little* capital to early-stage exploration.
