Hey hey! What a year we’ve had. With commodity prices bumping up and down, the investment scene is a bit murky… yet many say that at least copper could bring a BIG surprise in 2024.
As the world shifts towards cleaner energy, the mining sector is poised to play an even more critical role. As Lucho said in an episode of our podcast, “It feels good to be needed”. 😊
In any case, the long-term view is bright and much value awaits to be unlocked.

- First of all, thanks for the wonderful feedback you’ve shared, I’m so happy to hear you find these resources helpful. This blog started as a hobby back in 2015 and ended up unexpectedly becoming a companion to the social media content we produce as part of our corporate advisory work and investment.
- Unlike the content on socials which targets investors of all types as well as sector insiders (~30K combined followers), the blog is mainly for investors wanting to learn more about mining and the energy transition. It already has over 130 posts and tools, organized in a few crucial topics and read by thousands every month. Content is either free to access or very inexpensive to allow for maximum reach: in addition to eBooks first released in 2022, and the energy transition investing course launched last quarter, now there’s a subscriber-only section!
- We’ve been making improvements as content and users have grown. During tests, you may have received an email in error. Very sorry about that! 😬 (if you were after the Glencore piece that was sent by mistake, do not fret! It is scheduled for late January).
- In 2024 we’ll keep publishing posts weekly but plan to only send the free newsletter or announcements (like this one) via email, to keep your inbox lighter.
