If you have read any of my posts regarding DNA, you know that I have been investigating my family’s past. The funny thing is I found out that two of my 3x great grandparents on my mother’s side were successful businessmen, and putting that together with being at least 4th generation working in the mining sector, from my dad’s side, it is clear to me that at least some of what makes an entrepreneur tick is in the DNA. It does certainly feel true for me.
Running a business is not always easy. You may work terribly long days for a while (typically a couple of years from inception), and face many rejections but if you felt that call… did you ever feel like you couldn’t stop yourself? Maybe it also runs in your blood!
There’s a certain nonconformism, boldness, at times even fearless quality that entrepreneurs have. And it can be exciting to be around.
