9 years ago I was on my way to a mining project with a group of clients. We were traveling in 2 @toyotaargentina 4WD Hilux on dusty, endless roads in western Argentina. I had been on similar trips many times in my life but this was different… there were lots of moments of silence, looking out the window, and just thinking about life and where I was going (not so much literally but metaphorically). Like a very long meditation 🧘🏼♂️
I had been to Australia -for the first time- a couple of months before that trip. I had always wanted to visit, and when I did, I was amazed. What a beautiful country! Could I live in Australia? Should I? I was living a comfortable -albeit a bit predictable- life in Argentina but I couldn’t help but feel there was something different waiting for me.
So I decided then and there. I’m doing this. I’m moving to Australia. Didn’t know exactly how I would work out all the details, but I told myself “It’s now or never!”.
That was November 2011. Everything that needed to happen for my decision to eventuate did come to pass flawlessly. So I moved to Sydney in July 2012 and started a Master of Finance at @unswbusiness. Two years later, in July 2014 @synergyresource was born.
You’ll never achieve your goals if you don’t make the first decision. Even if it scares you to your core.
